been doing reviews of the Virgin Labfest 9 plays for GMA News Online. it’s the first time in three years that i’ve made the effort to see all three sets of new one-act plays within the first week, and the full-length play early in the second week. 

must say: it’s always been a wondrous display of Pinoy talent, VLF. but this year it was just over and above what i expected in terms of writing and staging. the comedies run with it, and they’re all so well-written, they just resonate. the reviews so far:
